Kangaroo Flat Bowls Club is situated approximately 150 kilometres North of Melbourne and we
are affiliated with Bowls Victoria and the Bendigo Bowls Division.

than pleased with our first class greens and facilities. We are controlled by a Board and have both Men and Ladies Sections

The Clubs Constitution and By Laws have been revised and amended in accordance with the decisions made at the
Special General Meeting of Members which was called to consider the revised Management Structure of the Club.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE. THURSDAY 14th MAY 2020
GREENS NOW OPEN FOR ROLL UPS.

Following the Victorian State Government’s lifting of certain COVID-19 restrictions on Monday May 11th 2020, and
acting on advice from Bowls Victoria the Board of the Kangaroo Flat Bowls Club met on Wednesday 13th May 2020
to consider the opening of our greens for practice by Members.

After a further lengthy discussion it was decided to do so subject to the conditions outlined here.


CONDITIONS  FOR  PRACTICE

MEMBERS ONLY

GREENS OPEN 7 DAYS PER WEEK - 11am to 5pm - UNTIL 31st MAY

NO ENTRY TO THE CLUBHOUSE IS PERMITTED EXCEPT THROUGH THE DOOR TO THE REAR TOILET AREA.

If you are considering playing, you should strongly consider your circumstances and/or medical advice.

IMPORTANT: THE ATTENDANCE REGISTER LOCATED AT THE MAT BOX MUST
BE FILLED IN BY EACH PLAYER FOR EVERY ATTENDANCE.

  • If you need access to collect your bowls please contact Jeff Friswell – Ph. 5447 7992.
    Bowls are not permitted to be left at Club and Club bowls cannot be used

  • Mats are in mat box on rear verandah. Must be sanitized before and after use and taken home for further use if required.

  • Use golf or tennis ball for a kitty.

  • No spectators are allowed unless a person is bringing you to or from the club.

  • Social distancing (1.5 metres) must be maintained.

  • Rinks are set 1.5 metres apart and are not to be altered.

MAXIMUM OF 4 PLAYERS PER RINK.   MAXIMUM OF 10 PLAYERS PER GREEN.

  • Do not handle other players’ bowls.

  • Only one player to handle what is being used as a kitty.

  • Wash your hands or use sanitizer regularly.

  • Sneeze or cough into your handkerchief or your elbow.

  • If unwell, DO NOT attend the club – you should remain at home.

THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS ARE GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS AND MUST BE FOLLOWED. FAILURE TO DO
SO MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES AND/OR FINES FOR BOTH THE CLUB AND INDIVIDUALS.
